Keep in a sheltered frost free position during winter, ideally heated greenhouse, or bring indoors. Likes to be soaked and left to partially dry, usually between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant, usually during a heatwave, and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty. Needs free-draining soil to thrive. Use a specialist cactus and succulent mix, or blend compost with horticultural grit or sand
